Global China Focus is Global China Connection's, a student-run business organization at Cornell, newly launched magazine. Each semester, a group of designers and writers are responsible for creating the magazine: from deciding topic themes, gathering pieces to putting it all together. I was very lucky to be one of the first spearheads for this magazine project that aims to spread Asia culture, business, photography and news within Cornell Community. 

I served as the layout designer head for the magazine project. My approach to each story's layout is determined by what the story is about and how it feels. For example, the tension between China and America's cyber politics - I designed the graphic to be explosive and digital - so that it fits the story theme. I also always add a sense of Chinese culture structure to the layout.
